Peter Iverson

When I was a child I was surrounded by painters; my mother, great uncle, brother in law and several friends all had a strong influence on me from both their talent and their dedication to artmaking. I learned to develop black and white film and make contact prints when I was about 8 or 9 years old, and as I grew up I continued to gravitate to photography. Part of my motivation is to try and provide non traditional photographs which may provide a bit of a challenge and surprise for the viewer.
