Stefka Kostova

I was born and grew up in Bulgaria, where painting has been a life long passion. As a young child I took part in numerous art-related projects and competitions, garnering multiple awards. While I had strong affinity for art, I was also fascinated by the complexities of human biology, making it difficult to choose a career path.
I ultimately graduated with a Master’s degree in Biology and Education from the University of Kliment Ohridski in Sofia, Bulgaria. My art often reflects my appreciation for nature’s beauty, frequently featuring the magical world of plants, flowers, and water.
I worked as biology teacher for several years in my beautiful home city Petrich, Bulgaria. Painting served as my hobby and supplementary income, enabling me to accumulate funds for the immigration application process and ultimately relocate over 29 years ago to Canada.
My artwork is featured in private collections in Bulgaria. I participated in several exhibitions and charitable events.
Upon relocating to Canada, I took a brief hiatus from painting to focus on settling my family and establishing a new life. I hold diplomas from two healthcare colleges in Toronto, specializing in dental assisting and dental hygiene. Currently I work as Registers Denta...
