Time to edit. This painting has so many themes surrounding it. Who does the hand belong to? The artist? Humanity? A God? All of the above? My work is a vivid exploration of memory, identity, and place. Using a palette of bold, saturated colors, I draw from the vivid imprints of my past, blending personal imagery with contemporary landscapes to evoke a dialogue between memory and the present. These vibrant hues are more than aesthetic choices; they symbolize the intensity of memory and the emotions tied to it, capturing fleeting moments and long-forgotten scenes from my life. By juxtaposing images from my past—intimate, nostalgic fragments—with the modern, evolving world around me, I seek to create a visual narrative that bridges time. Each piece becomes a conversation between who I was and who I am, between the environments that shaped me and those I navigate now. The landscapes I paint are far different from the classical perception of what a landscape painting should be. They are not just physical spaces but emotional terrains, transformed by the lens of time and memory. Through this interplay of color and form, I invite the viewer to engage with their own memories and personal landscapes, and to reflect on how the past and present constantly inform one another in our perceptions of the world.
