Reva Narain Sarup

I, Reva Narain, born on the 12th of June 1973, am a Indian national and a multi-media contemporary artist. Graduated in Economic Honours from the prestigious Sriram College of Commerce at Delhi University India. Pursued my career as a commercial artist at J Walter Thomson and went on to explore my natural instincts as an artist thereafter.

I believe many of us live out our defining stories without being able to articulate them.
This has been my driving force to express and highlight the unspoken. My work is a passage between many realities or to say between possibilities of many realities.

What we perceive is another possible reality in the near future and this is what I explore through my creative endeavours.

My paintings are my voice each depicting a belief, a story or a feeling. My works of art can tend to move between the real and the imaginary drawing upon the rich resources of myth, memory and tradition.

The surfaces generated are representations of a subconscious full of imagery, exposed to a multitude of patterns in my every day environment, bringing to life a constructed reality on expanded surfaces.
