Serpil Ersü was born in 1957 in İstanbul where she currrently resides.
After completing her degree in Italian Language and Literature at Ankara University, the artist worked in fashion industry at Beymen, Harrods London and finally her own label Moksha as a fashion designer.
She started painting in late 90's, inspired by the American author Louise Hay's life story.
Painting has been and still is a major tool for her self realisation, transformation and expression.
Her paintings are mixed media conceptual abstract . Works with acrylic and variety of materials to create different textures.
She communicates throu her paintings.
