Arathi Dharani

I am a self-taught Artist. I enjoy working in Chinese black ink, oil pastels, acrylic, gouche and oil paints. The drawings and paintings come from my imagination.
I am influenced by Southeast Asian art & culture, people and nature. I am also inspired by works of Rabindranath Tagore.
Women have always been a recurrent theme in my artworks. I like combining figurative with abstract and folk art traditions.
