Tatjana Obuhova

Tatyana studied art and design at the Academy of Art in Riga, Latvia. After finishing school and receiving her degree, she was sponsored to continue study in Europe, where she was seriously engaged in the art of painting on canvas, silk, and creating murals. She has been working as a full-time artist and muralist for almost 20 years. She has used it in various media: oil, watercolors, pastels, and batik. In 2005, she opened a private boutique, where she exhibited a collection of painted clothes, bags, and accessories. In 2007, she spent several months working on a restoration of the Orthodox Church in France. She had three large personal exhibitions at the gallery "Z7 Saxophone" in Riga, an outstanding achievement. In the past ten years, she proudly participated in 3 exhibitions in Balbriggan Library, one exhibit in Malahide Castle, one display in the Russian embassy in Dublin, two shows in Swords multicultural center. Many of her works are scattered throughout the private collections in Ireland, the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Russia, Latvia, and the USA.
