Halil Turker

She graduated from the Painting and Art Education Department of the Faculty of Education at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University in 1984, from the workshop of Fikri CANTÜRK. She completed her Master's degree in 1986 under the supervision of Prof. Dinçer ERİMEZ and her Proficiency in Art program in 1992 under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Gökhan ANLAĞAN at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department, Mimar Sinan University, Istanbul. During her student years, she worked as an animation artist in graphic design agencies and in Orhan Büyükdoğan's workshop, producing animated films for TRT and the Ministry of Culture. Between 1991 and 2001, she worked as a faculty member in the Painting Department of the Fine Arts Education Faculty at Anadolu University. In 2001, she was appointed as a faculty member in the Fine Arts Education Department of the Faculty of Education at Ondokuz Mayıs University. She became an Associate Professor in 2006 and a Professor in 2017. The artist, who works in the fields of painting, graphic design, animation, and sculpture, currently continues his duties as a Professor at the same institution.
