In the early years of growing up in a separated family, I always needed a place where I could be with myself and dream. My first solution was to hide above wardrobes, under beds and tables, or in cupboards that I could fit comfortably. But it didn’t take my mother or grandmother long to discover my little world where I was hiding to watch the outside world.
The only darkness I didn’t fear was my father’s darkroom with a scent of chemicals and magic. Then It was a long period of wandering to find the same feeling. Finally, I found a room that has a tiny hole inside to see all around me while I could be alone with my thoughts. Today I’m still looking and watching from my little hiding space and aspiring to learn and experience people, society and relations.
