Olena Zublevich

Ukrainian artist based and working in Valencia, Spain.

In March 2022, she left Ukraine due to the war, determined to continue her creative practice. After six months in Berlin, she relocated to Spain — a country that has long inspired her work. Since September 2022, she has been living and producing vibrant abstract compositions in Valencia.

Her practice engages in a profound visual dialogue with the architecture and spatial rhythms of Mediterranean pueblos. The fragmentary nature, texture, and rhythmic interplay of planes and volumes in these settlements serve as key tools for constructing a complex abstract narrative. Through this formal language, she explores personal experience, the relationship to environment, and questions of identity.

Central to her artistic inquiry are three themes: the perspective of the outsider, the search for inner balance, and the concept of luxury offline — a conscious disengagement from the digital noise of contemporary life.
