At the core of the artist’s practice is an exploration of perception, memory, and material. Moving between figuration and abstraction, the works bring traces of the corporeal into dialogue with painterly processes and layered surfaces.
The large-scale works, created with acrylic, acrylic spray, and metallic pigments, unfold through the interplay of color, light, and material. Layers, overlaps, and shifting surfaces evoke skin, stone, and geological sediments, creating pictorial spaces between corporeality and minerality, intimacy and distance, memory and transformation.
The works are conceived as open processes of emergence. They invite associations with archaeological fragments, geological strata, and the traces of becoming and decay. Forms may emerge, dissolve, and become legible anew. Painting thus becomes an investigation of form, time, and perception, with meaning ultimately completed through the viewer’s gaze.
