I like to explore the ideas of the unconscious thought process that we encounter on a daily basis. Miniscule actions and gestures that pass us by; we perform them but hardly ever notice them. Breathing on a window pane and talking with others are examples of the actions and gesture that influence my practice. Little habits, which we do on a daily basis, that we no longer notice ourselves doing.

I explore these actions and gestures through the media of sculpture and installation, combining materials that I found or acquired. I like to use domestic, recognisable materials as I believe that it provokes a relationship between the object and the viewer; however I like to also play on this recognition. I like to take the materials and objects out of their destined purpose and context give new life, a new meaning, and to provide a new thinking platform for the object. I like to provide an uncanny atmosphere for the viewer.
