This is the artwork gallery of Barbara Parise (outsider artist active since 1980) also known as Lady U. Plush (1999 - 2011) and Cosmic Bird (2011— ).
She is an Italo-British multi-disciplinary
Visual/ aural artist-creator, cosmic entrepreneur living between the UK and Italy.

Currently not accepting unsolicited material, not interested in collaborations, prefer working solo and independently at my own pace and leisure.

Creative activities so far: Avant-garde composer, voice, screenwriter/writer/poet, painter, film-maker/director/ photographer, film/theatre director, muse, actress, dancer, performer, producer, editor, expert researcher, sound designer and art/ film curator, entrepreneur, seasoned traveller.

Lecturer/ educator in various institutions, editor.
Previously Content provider, event manager, art gallery vintage shop owner, film critic/curator, film historian/consultant.

I am a bit of a hermit and solitary woman but I do not feel guilty or less worthy for this.

Trained at Goldsmiths College, University of London, Media Department, (Master of Arts: FEATURE FILM) with a previous BA degree in Film Studies from the DAMS (Disciplines of Art, Music,Theatre, Film History and analysis/critique amongst other subjects) Media Department, Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, University La Sapienza, Rome, parallel to practical film school at Lab Cinema, with additional screenwriting training at historical Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Rome, with late master guru Luigi Di Gianni- subsequently professionally trained in several mixed media artistic and enterpreneurial, linguistic disciplines; i.e. theatre acting, new media/ multimedia, graphic design, figurative arts, multidisciplinary art practice in UK (Goldsmiths College, University Of London, , Westminster College, Westminster University, Kingsway, Kings College, LUX Center among others), previously training in Ireland, Spain, Paris, France, Italy and UK.
