Erica Lucchi's Mandalas are distinguished by a highly introspective and symbolic visual language, in which the circular shape becomes the fulcrum of a meditative and emotional journey.
In her paintings, the mandala is not merely a decorative element, but a true interior space:
the circular structure evokes balance, harmony, and cyclicality; the repeated geometries create rhythm and draw the gaze toward the centre. Each composition seems to invite contemplation and reflection. A central aspect is the use of color, often intense and vibrant, yet sensitively calibrated. The hues interact with each other to convey different emotional energies: calm, strength, transformation, rebirth. The contrasts and nuances suggest internal movements, as if the mandala were continually evolving. Expressively, Erica Lucchi's Mandalas combine:
precision (in textures and details), intuition (in color choices and symbols),
secular spirituality, accessible to everyone, regardless of religious affiliations.
Overall, her paintings appear as maps of the soul: works that are not simply to be observed, but that ask to be "inhabited", leaving the viewer the freedom to find personal meanings and different moods in them.
ERICA LUCCHI studied at the D. A. Azuni classical high school in Sassari, where she earned her high school diploma. She subsequently graduated from the University of Sassari with a degree in foreign languages and literature. She earned her D.E.L.E. in bilingual Italian and Spanish in Madrid, and furthered her studies in English at Dublin City University.
In 1996, she began a well-rounded artistic career, working and earning master's degrees as an actress, in psychology, cinema acting, dubbing, and production, marketing, communication, image language, translation and adaptation of content for web portals, content creation and dubbing, and music. After a dreamlike vision in 2011, she devoted herself to the study and practice of the world of mandalas and psychology, embarking on a career in painting that led to a series of international exhibitions, achieving significant success.
