Kodri Johan

Born in the Meranti Islands, Riau Province, July 27, 1973, Kodri Johan, better known as Kodjo, studied elementary to high school in the city of Pekanbaru. Then he studied in the field of fine arts (painting) for 4 years at the Malang State University in East Java and graduated in 1996. During his education in fine arts, he has always been active in creating and exhibiting until now. Some of his works have been displayed in fine art exhibitions both regionally and nationally. Such as: Riau, West Sumatra, Jambi, Lampung, etc., as well as at the national level such as: the National Gallery in Jakarta, major exhibitions in Ambon, Bali, Yogyakarta. Along the journey of art, several works have been collected both at home and abroad such as: Jakarta, Malaysia and Italy. Contemporary realist style is packaged with the theme of the reality of life through symbols that guide the audience to think and explore the content and meaning of the concepts of the works displayed.
