Linda Coppens is an abstract painter whose work is driven by gesture, rhythm, and an intuitive engagement with the surface. Her paintings explore the tension between movement and restraint, where marks are applied, interrupted, and left visible as traces of process.
While earlier works developed through layering and accumulation, her recent paintings focus on reduction and timing, allowing the image to remain open and unresolved. Her work is held in private collections worldwide.
