Daniele Pelligra is an Italian contemporary visual artist and designer, born in Palermo in 1988. Following his artistic education at the Institute of Art in Syracuse, he developed a creative practice focused on the emotional, aesthetic and cultural significance of the automobile.
His artistic journey began with hand-drawn car sketches and gradually evolved through the influence of automotive design, motorsport, 3D visualization and digital painting. Rooted in Italy’s tradition of beauty, speed and craftsmanship, his visual language transforms iconic automobiles, mechanical details and elements of racing culture into expressive contemporary artworks.
Through close-up compositions, textured surfaces, dramatic contrasts of light and a dynamic use of color, Pelligra explores the automobile not simply as a machine, but as a symbol of desire, memory, identity, energy and movement. Bodywork, reflections, technical components and the visual traces of speed become expressive tools through which he investigates the relationship between humanity, technology and the collective imagination.
