ABOUT
EXHIBITIONS

Philippe Herzog is a self-taught artist of digital art, from France, with a rare product. Influenced mostly by Kandinsky and the Bauhaus, he has, since 1993, produced computer art works to be viewed on the screen.

As there is a man of La Mancha, the man of the badlands (the iconoclast filmmaker Luc Moullet), Philippe Herzog defines himself as the files man aka FM: His work is designed on the computer for screens and his works are supported by computer files.

Philippe Herzog - Numeric'Art produces digital and caustic works, whose spirit is expressed by the title.
He questions the slide show concept by associating his creations of vectorial drawings (geometrical basic figures or constructions) with his photos, films, musics, and giving the whole a suggestive title that tells a story, not where you would except. Sometimes, he uses the music of other artists, known songs that become integral part of his work.

In short, materials : multimedia presentation, philosophy : of the multiple, mania : acronymy.
Except for special cases, his works are edited in 4 versions : D F V P .
D : digital multiple, F : digital photo frame, V : video edition, P : printed edition.

2010 march: “Digital shows off”, personal exhibition at the Actuel'Art gallery in Paris -
prints, digital photo frame, 6 laptops, videoprojection.
2011 april: Invited to the 65th edition of the Salon Realites Nouvelles at the Parc Floral in
