Tsunami blue Painting

Ciro Guerra-born in Naples in 1957, live in Turin since 1981 where I live and work. Autodidatta, negli anni giovanili ho frequentato la scuola "International School Corporation" di disegno, pittura, grafica pubblicitaria, apprendendo tecniche e metodi per fare arte. Le radici della mia pittura passano dal figurativo fino ad arrivare all'Informale. Lavoro nelle Ferrovie dello stato, dove ho messo a disposizione le mie capacità artistiche dal 1990 al 2000, ho operato sul territorio nazionale per conto delle FS in attività di restauro, realizzazioni di grandi trompe l'oeil in ambienti di Stazioni, direzioni artistiche per attività di stazione, grafica pubblicitaria e grandi istallazioni grafiche/pittoriche per il passante ferroviario di Torino ( piazza Statuto). Negli ultimi anni, nella mia pittura, sono comparsi graffiti e linguaggi arcaici che hanno puro valore di segno pittorico, apparentemente senza significati filosofici, i quali dialogano e si inseriscono nel colore e nella materia arricchendola e che hanno come messaggio l'affermare l'importanza della pittura nella concezione etica e filosofica.
