As a photographer, I like to collect images rather than create images. I collect images I find interesting in terms of either composition, content, the emotions they represent, or their human symbolism. Working with the human form in an unapologetic and unvarnished way allows me to invite the viewer to experience what they otherwise might not have had the opportunity to experience and to participate in the process with their own interpretation and understanding of the image.

All prints are produced using the giclée process. They are printed on museum quality papers utilizing archival inks. This ensures that these high-quality prints will last as long as or longer than those produced using the traditional gelatin-silver process.

I am a self-taught photographer who began photographing in the South Florida area in the early 1970’s. I later studied photography at the University of Miami in 1978 and 1979. In the early 1990’s I studied under Eduardo del Valle and Mirta Gomez at Florida International University.

In the 1990’s I owned and operated a commercial photography studio in Hollywood, Florida, I provided a range of professional photographic services including portrait, architectural, product, editorial, fashion and fine art photography.

In 2000 I relocated to North Carolina. Since that time I have focused on personal projects the results of which are found here.
