Through my artwork, I want to bring back what has been lost to time.

I construct collages out of paper ephemera from the 1850s to the 1970s. Ledgers, checks, documents, and letters; at one time, these papers were very important to the people who owned them. Although these older methods of recording and tracking the details of daily life have become obsolete, they have a tiny spark left in them.

I add vibrant colors and whimsical patterns to these mundane materials to create something altogether new. My hope is that the viewer will look at the interplay of the past and the present in my work and feel a sense of delight.

Currently, my collages are on the front and back cover of the poetry journal, the Bicoastal Review, and my work is in the UNBOUND virtual exhibition on the website Juniper Rag. I have a solo show at the MossArch gallery space in March. I will also have a full-page illustration in the upcoming issue of New Jersey Magazine.
