Millie Fry

Millie Fry is a fine artist who is currently based on the South Coast of England. In 2017 she achieved a Distinction in Art and Design at Arts University Bournemouth. It was there she realised she wanted to pursue a career as an artist and since then has been developing and fine tuning her self-taught skills as an Oil Painter.
 
Through growing up on the South Coast and travelling many beautiful parts of the World, her surroundings have immensely inspired her work. Most recently Millie has spent time in the French Alps, the beautiful and dramatic landscape provides endless inspiration for her latest Alpine Series. Whilst she uses the natural environment as a starting point, her imagination takes the lead role in creating her atmospheric oil paintings.
 
Her fascination and exploratory use of oils, has allowed her to develop her skill set in this rich and versatile medium. Millie enjoys to paint on a large scale as this allows her to become immersed in the painting, creating atmosphere and space for the viewer to be drawn into.
