Born in San Francisco, California, for the past four decades, Francesca Pinoni has made the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus her home. A perpetual student and traveller, her curiosity and quest for beauty propelled her from continent to continent. Her drama professor at UC Santa Cruz once commented that Francesca is “an artist in all she does”. Following her bliss, she revels in the colours of nature startlingly juxtaposed with the man-made. Her travels curtailed by world events, Francesca settled back into her first love, painting. She expresses her inner light, beauty and experience with pigments on paper and canvas.
