This work draws its inspiration from nature as well as from my walks and observations. It was created with a gestural, spontaneous, and free approach. "I remain endlessly fascinated by nature—it is the greatest creative force, capable on its own of generating life, shapes, and emotions. I observe it with a voracious gaze, driven by the fear of seeing it vanish. Each piece I create is a small adventure, shaped by gestures, chance, hesitation, and moments of uncertainty and enthusiasm. My work also reflects a deep need to reconnect with myself, in a time that feels suspended—an emotional release." "Today, my artistic practice is marked by a growing awareness of the fragility of nature, both inner and outer. My pieces are created using mixed media: watercolor, India ink, gouache, walnut stain, beetroot juice... I work from my home in Étaples, a fisherman’s nest transformed into a studio for the occasion, infused with salty sea mist and the opalescent hues of the coast."
