Darren Mcstay

Darren McStay is an interdisciplinary artist of Irish descent, raised in London, UK, whose work spans various mediums, including fine art, music, and filmmaking. His polymathic approach to the arts has also seen him work as an actor, tattoo artist and voice coach.

As a visual artist, Darren amalgamates pop, street and graphic tattoo art into his otherwise expressionistic free-spirited mixed media mash-ups.

Driven by his fascination with the human condition and the complexities of our emotions and behaviours, Darren's work explores themes of identity, class, and self-perception, inviting viewers to engage with the art on a personal level.

His unique approach to visual art joins Darren's other creative mediums in a marriage that fully satisfies his deep creative urges, interests and scope of creative expression.
