Danielle De Sousa

I'm Danielle, and I come from a beautifully mixed Asian-Scandinavian-Swiss heritage.

I have been so lucky to have been born and raised in Goa, India, during my early years. I moved to London where I studied for a short while before eventually settling in Copenhagen to finish my studies.

I am currently working and living once again in the UK where I get to explore the beautiful architectural cities on this little island and learning from the people around me.

Coming from a multicultural background, I have been blessed with the different environments and experiences in the places that I have lived. These have continuously inspired me and I have been able to reflect that in my art works - from the varying banana and jackfruit tree leaves of Goa to the old cobbled streets and colourful houses in Nyhavn, Copenhagen; absorbing all the assortment of experiences with ever-growing curiosity!

In my spare time, aside from painting, I enjoy spending my time in the water wakeboarding, trekking the English hills and spending as much time with my Family, Friends and Nature.
