Diego A Vignon

I was born and raised in Mexico, and for the last several years I have been based between Madrid and Berlin. From an early age, I developed a deep interest in photography, acquiring my first camera at the age of sixteen. I went on to study Philosophy and Literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, before pursuing, in a self-taught manner, a comprehensive training in photography, darkroom practice, and alternative printing techniques.
Currently, my artistic practice is focused exclusively on platinum-palladium printing. My primary concern lies in the conceptual and visual depth of the image rather than the technical process itself. Most of my photographs are carefully staged scenographies, planned over several weeks and executed with meticulous attention to detail.
Over the course of my career, I have received multiple awards and participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
