Dorothea Sandra

From France to Hong Kong, my art has been selling nationally and internationally. With my florals, I have become known as The Artist of Happiness. I am evidence-based design certified, and I use medical/scientific study results while creating art that triggers the brain to create happiness (dopamine) chemicals. In 2024, I was interviewed by a brain research team at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for my art and my book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. In 2024 and 2025, my art was featured in Healthcare Design Magazine. I am also the creator of the Smart City Art Collection, which features abstract art pieces promoting smart and sustainable cities of the future. Nineteen of my pieces are currently in international curations in Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, and the United States. In 2026, I will be painting for three months in Shanghai, China.

My Smart City Art series was featured at the 2025 SRI Sustainability Research and Innovation International Congress, which was held at the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk in Chicago from June 16 to 19.
