Matic Kos

Matic Kos was born in 1980 in Trbovlje. He graduated from the Arthouse-College of Visual Arts with honor and commendation in 2007, and in 2015 he was awarded the Master’s Degree with the recognition Diploma summa cum laude. At this College he has also been active as a lecturer of painting and theory and as the Deputy Dean.

He is a freelance artist. In his works of art he substantively explores relationships and psychological states in the contemporary world. He is committed to the visual art and endeavors to constructively contribute to the creation of the Slovenian as well as the international cultural space. He has participated in over twenty-five group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad, and has already had eleven solo exhibitions throughout Slovenia. He also attended a number of international colonies. He lives and works in Trbovlje.
