Syed Ahmed

I was born in Bangladesh. I have been living in the United States since 1994. I live with my beautiful wife and two adorable daughters. I am a freelance painter. I love landscapes in natural and abstract forms. My favorite mediums are acrylic, oil and watercolor. I am extremely passionate about paintings. There are times when I wake up in the middle of nights to paint. I have been painting since I was in the first grade. My artworks are in many private collections in many countries.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Marketing. I also have a Master's degree in Economics. I went to Minnesota State University for my degrees.

When I was growing up, I went to one of the most prestigious children's art schools in Bangladesh. I participated in competitions and exhibitions nationally and internationally. I received numerous best painting awards nationally and internationally: I received Jawaharlal Nehru Gold Medal, Jawaharlal Nehru Silver Medal from India, Silver and Bronze medal from Japan (Nippon Television), and Selected Work Certificate from South Korea.

Here in MN I participated in a professional group art exhibition in New Ulm, MN. I had the highest number of works exhibited in the exhibition and received an award.
