Nadezhda Biryukova

I paint in the style of intuitive painting, combining impressionism and abstraction in my paintings.


In art, I have always inspire by images of nature. I can take a long look at the weaving of thin twigs on a tree, grass or snowflakes on the sleeve. And then transfer it to the canvas in your own manner and in your reality. So, my painting consists of wavy, living lines, subject to their own logic.


Interest in psychology and yoga has made a special contribution to my work. Wings occupy a large place in my painting, be they winged people, horses or angels. This is an image of invisible protection and help in gaining freedom.


Motherhood also influenced my outlook on things. To look at the world with wide eyes, never stop to surprise and rejoice in simple things - this is what my three sons teach me.


Sometimes images of future paintings come to me in a dream or during the sound of music, when the subconscious mind opens up. It is usually difficult to predict how the final painting will look, it is an unpredictable process.


My works are a project of love for the world, the process of my personal growth, the philosophy of my life.


I hope that the energy that drives me to write will also touch the heart...
