About the Artist – Raz Negev

Raz Negev’s artistic journey began in a unique and intense environment a studio located in a bunker in Israel, a space symbolizing protection and resilience. This experience deeply shaped her work, which is rooted in love, vulnerability, and human connection rather than conflict.

Working primarily with acrylics to explore the emotional and physical layers of the human experience, her expressive, figurative paintings capture vulnerability, passion, and intimacy through dynamic forms and rich textures. Raz blends classical influences with a modern language of color and gesture, creating powerful visual narratives exhibited internationally.

Her paintings emerge from a deeply personal and emotional source, reflecting moments of intimacy, desire, and the complexity of human emotion. Through a slow, meticulous process of layering and mark making, she conveys both the weight and delicacy of these inner experiences. Raz currently exhibits her paintings across Europe and America and works in various creative spaces.
