Jefferson Pacheco

Born in Recife, Brazil, in 1979, Jefferson Pacheco learned to draw from his maternal aunt as a child and never stopped practicing. As a teenager, he was influenced by his father's architectural plans; he was a builder and wanted the artist to follow his career path.
Jefferson partly followed in his father's footsteps as an entrepreneur, but he never abandoned the desire to one day work in art. He was always interested in studying Van Gogh, Cézanne, and other great masters.
It was only in 2016, shortly after his mother's death, that he developed depression, seeing a friend's painting as a way out of the abyss he was in. Painting was his hope for treatment. It was at the age of 37 that he discovered he had a talent for painting, and he did so in pursuit of his health.
Self-taught, the emerging artist has been painting since 2016 everything he finds beautiful to his eyes and mind, always bringing the vibrant colors of Brazil to his canvases.

Jefferson Pacheco is self-taught, meaning he developed his artistic education on his own, without formal art training. From an early age, he learned to draw with his aunt and refined his skills by observing his father’s work as a builder, who created architectural plans. These experiences awakened in him a passion for line, proportion, and visual harmony.

Throughout his life, Jefferson pursued knowledge independently, studying techniques and styles from great masters such as Van Gogh and Cézanne, which deeply influenced his way of painting. His education, therefore, was shaped by practice, observation, and a natural sensitivity to transform personal experiences into art.
