Brian Kirchoff

Focusing on abstract expressionism, my work varies from starkly introspective to brilliantly colorful and full of movement. Relying heavily on the use of line and mark to
bring about tension and interest, oftentimes the background and/or underpainting are the true stars of my paintings. While on occasion there are specific themes associated
with a piece, most rely on the viewer to make their own interpretation. Visual interest and exploration are my primary goals.
