David R

David is a well-respected contemporary Scottish artist based in beautiful Aberdeenshire. He’s been painting and creating for over 30 years, developing and evolving his skills.

For most of his career, David has worked in print and digital design, owning his own design company. However, he always returns to his first love – painting. Creating his artwork brings him peace, calm and fulfilment and is a world away from the high-pressure commercial design world.

At long last, David is focusing on his art, building a reputation amongst collectors and his peers. His work now adorns homes far and wide.

David works primarily in acrylics, although his work will often also include alcohol inks, metal leaf and more.
