BIOGRAPHY OF ESTHER GARNEAU

Born in 1980, Esther Garneau first began a career in the health field after having studied there. At the dawn of her thirties, her passion for artistic creation took over and the idea of ​​making it her profession crossed her mind. It was in 2014 that she left the security of her job behind to devote herself to her art full time.

With more than one string to her bow, Esther Garneau is also an entrepreneur. In 2015, she co-founded Galerie Zen in Quebec City and became its sole owner a few months later. In 2017, Esther relocated Galerie Zen to St-Jean Street. She offers her works there in addition to those of Alex and Isabelle Desrochers. She specializes in the delivery of works of art internationally and represents with passion her 2 artists with whom she has developed a friendship over the years. There is also the Chacal/E.garneau clothing collection, designed and made by designer Chacal with prints of Esther’s works on fabrics. In 2018, Esther was selected as a permanent artist at Galerie Guylaine Fournier located in Baie St-Paul. It was then that she decided to exhibit and sell her works in art galleries only.
