My digital works are mainly made for the “Print” option offered by SaatchiArt. The process of creating a picture
is just as exciting as the result.
That's why I want to make it possible
to see and „feel“
what the picture is made of,
although digital material

undergoes changes.

If I look at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart
at an original painting by Piet Mondrian, for example,
I can see the traces of the creative process.
Piet Mondrian's paintings
were also often used as templates
for packaging for everyday consumer products.
There the motifs appear very clean.
In contrast, seeing the traces of processing
gives me the feeling that the picture is more alive.
Not only is the finished picture there,
but I can also sense the creative phase.
That makes the picture much more exciting for me.
That's why I also try to avoid sterile cleanliness in digital art,
and show the revised areas as well,

2015 - Long Night of Museums in Stuttgart: Artistic work for the funeral home Haller: I transformed a coffin lid into a boat and used as sails my large-format images on unframed canvas. The sails showed images of birth, life and death in an inflatable boat. Even the local newspaper in Stuttgart liked it.
