Joshua is a photographer and print maker whose work is characterised by curiosity, humour and a delight in discovery.
Joshua uses his camera to reveal beauty in unexpected places. The influence of over two decades in graphic design are evident in his work, where he looks for the visual language of apparently mundane things.
We often take for granted the world on our doorstep, but Blackburn's work looks at the fabric of daily life for its intricate patterns of colour, texture and narrative.
Joshua’s most recent project, Laundamatic, was the subject of his photobook LAUNDERAMA (pub. Hoxton Mini Press, 2019).
