Marie Mariestyle

I paint and stick my artworks (spray painted paste-ups) in the streets, but I also work on paper and on canvas in the studio. My expertise are stencil graffiti (stenciled faces of fashion models), because I love cutting paper and spraying and I mix certain media.

I enjoyed a traditional academic education of painting and art history at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Jörg Immendorff and Jan Dibbets until 2005. I specialized in oil painting and became an art teacher at a grammar school for secondary education.
Later (in 2011), I got in touch with graffiti and spray paint, especially in Duesseldorf and Ibiza, so I taught myself the art of making stencil graffiti and spraying, which is what I really love.

My works can be found in the streets of Hamburg, Duesseldorf, Berlin, Cologne, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Mykonos and Ibiza. I exhibited in London (Truman Brewery), Barcelona (Casa Batlo), Cologne (City Leaks/Straßengold), Düsseldorf (solo show), and Munich (Stroke); for upcoming gallery exhibitions please check my website.
