“The 'Face Navigation' series is inspired by my perception of self and others in a time when our appetite for information technology is insatiable and the way we communicate is rapidly evolving. Through painting I explore how social media, anonymous communication and diminished face recognition relate to our individual identity, ego and sense of self.”
