I’m an immigrant printmaker/muralist originally from Oaxaca, Mexico based in Los Angeles.
The aesthetic of my artwork refers to the traditional Mexican history of printmaking.
My artwork is inspired by traditional stories from my elders, from where my holy characters were born and constantly evolving and growing to live in today’s times. They represent the autonomy of imagination that could be used to create another world that helps us challenge this system that gambles social justice.
