Usha Biswas

Born in 1940 - Died 2018. Studied Fine Arts at the Delhi Polytechnic. Awarded a cultural scholarship by the Government of India. Has held several solo shows and participated in group exhibitions in India, Europe, and the Philippines. Her works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi; the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi; the Wilfredo Centre, Cuba, and several private collections.

Usha Biswas passed away in June 2018, leaving behind a large number of works. She had been a noted artist in India for last 50 years. Some of her works which are available are taken care of by her 2 children and they shall be authenticating each work on her behalf.

in 1960 secured National Diploma in Fine Art from Delhi Polytechnic (Now Delhi College of Art ).
