Hannah Sum’s oil paintings beautifully explore life’s impermanence, using delicate lines and soft hues to evoke a sense of time’s passage. Influenced by her cultural heritage, her minimalist compositions invite introspection, blending simplicity with symbolic depth.
Based in Toronto and originally from Hong Kong, she began painting in 2010, held her first solo exhibition in 2018, and earned her Fine Arts Diploma with Distinction in 2022. Her work is now part of private collections worldwide, drawing viewers into quiet contemplation on the fleeting beauty of existence.
