Art and music, that relentless hunger that lived inside me ever since I was a little girl.
When I hear music, I visualize vivid scenes. Some of them, eventually, find their way to my canvas.
But music isn't my only inspiration. The sight of a shadow on a wall, a line in a poem, or any other so-called mundane moment that happened to spark my imagination will leave me no choice but to pick up my brush and start painting.
And as I travel between music genres – Led Zeppelin and Beethoven, Miles Davis and Leonard Cohen, so my style changes. The surreal, the cubist, the abstract and the still life, I touch them all and they all touch me.
I work with a variety of mediums, such as oil and acrylic paints, pencils and many more.
In addition, as part of my work as a graphic designer and as a learning environment designer, I often engage in digital painting as well.
So, you see, I'm a multi-genre artist. I'm curious and eager to learn more and experiment with any new genre or media that I might stumble upon.
