Sushanta Das is a Bangladeshi visual artist whose work explores nature, landscape and quiet moments of human life through expressive watercolor and acrylic painting.
Born and raised in Bangladesh, Sushanta developed a passion for drawing and painting from an early age. He studied Fine Art at the Institute of Fine Art, University of Dhaka, and has continued to develop his practice through observation, experimentation and a deep connection with nature.
Sushanta Das is a passionate watercolor artist and art educator. Alongside teaching at Green Bell Laboratory School and Australis International School, a British-curriculum school, he devotes his free time to painting almost every day. Driven by his love for art, he is dedicated to nurturing creativity and inspiring the young generation through art education.
His watercolor paintings often feature rivers, villages, roads, fields, mountains and solitary figures. He combines loose watercolor washes, expressive brushwork and harmonious color to create atmospheric landscapes that balance realism with an impressionistic sensibility.
