ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

The series of patterns was photographed by me during the long trip on Crete island, in Greece. I've found out that I can find abstract beauty on the sides of the old boats, fences, walls. They created paintings and stories. They told me a lot about the color mixing, accident arts and moving pictures...

I'm writer, photographer, musical director and painter. I was painted all my life trying to express the beauty of the world I see around. It's similar to writing but using another materials; all my paintings, photos and collages are like words and phrases expressed in colors and shapes. I was born in Riga, Latvia, in 1980. Moved to Moscow in 2002 and directed films and musicals there. I've returned to Riga in 2012, but my work in Moscow didn't end. Sometimes I write screenplays with my co-director and direct musical concerts and local shows. Now I write my books, make photos and of course paint. Painting is one of important sides of my life. In my childhood I prefered drawing horses because my grandfather was a veterinary surgeon during the Worls War Two and I like animals very much. Now I like them too, and nature, and abstract paintings, which help me show what happens inside my soul. I often draw illustrations to my own stories and fairy tales. I prefer bright colors, but if something goes wrong, I remember Stendhal and red&black comes to my palette. My works sold before are in private collections. A little bit time ago I came to a situation that scares me and makes me think what can I do. My mom who had a cancer few years ago needs new medicine and eye operation, so I have to find money to improve our material status. That's why I decided to sell my new artworks here (sometimes my mom helps me with making collages and mixing paints). They will bring peace and joy to your house or office, and we all will live happily ever after. I like good stories. Let's it be the one of them.
