Richard Riverin

I was born in Quebec City in 1942. Self-taught, I developed a unique technique using palette knives and my own paint. My art is characterized by a soft luster, a very thick texture, a sense of spontaneity, a diversity of subjects and compositions, and a harmony of comforting colors. I became an artist at the age of 57 in Naples, Florida, where I owned an art gallery

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Sherbrooke University, Québec, Canada.
