Terry Jenkins

I grew up in London, and for many years I earned a living as a sports photographer. I loved my job, but when it was time to relax, I loved to paint. These days I am a full-time artist and part time art instructor. Most of my paintings are large abstracts, painted on commission, but in my art classes we tackle all kinds of subjects, and I sell my art class demonstration paintings online.

I studied art and photography at college in London. I learned about composition and color harmony and brushwork etc. But it was my mother who really taught me how to paint. She was an artist and an art teacher, and I learned most of what I know simply from being around her.
