Mark Perry-Young

Working out of his studio in South Yorkshire, UK, Mark Perry-Young takes influence from modern daily life; the stresses, the strains, the complexities and also the changes it can push on people.  He also reflects on his experiences of growing up in a northern industrial town.

His works are often reduced down to simple forms and colours to act as an anecdote to the complex world in which we live. 

He holds a keen interest in post 1900’s visual art of all media, particularly pop art, abstraction, social realism and constructivism.
