In my work, the subject itself is never the primary focus. What matters is the state in which the subject reveals itself.
I am interested in moments of presence — subtle emotional, psychological, or spatial conditions where form, gesture, light, and silence align. Whether I photograph landscapes, human figures, or abstract structures, I approach each image as an exploration of how something appears, rather than what it is.
My practice is rooted in observation rather than direction. I look for states of stillness, openness, tension, or quiet joy — moments where the subject is not performing, but simply existing. In these moments, meaning emerges naturally, without narrative or explanation.
I work with visual restraint, often using black and white or limited color palettes, to reduce distraction and allow texture, rhythm, and emotional resonance to surface. This reduction creates space for contemplation and invites the viewer into a slower, more attentive way of seeing.
My photographs are not intended to describe or persuade. They function as spaces of presence — open images in which viewers can encounter their own perceptions, memories, and inner states.
